Grupo New Passport, with over twenty-five years of experience in the language immersion sector, has been a pioneer in providing high-quality educational, cultural, and leisure experiences both inside and outside Spain.

Building upon this extensive trajectory, and with the expertise of our talented team, we have created a new project: Live Like a Local. A project that combines our passion for language immersion, gastronomy, and cultural tourism.

  • María José Pulido

    Founder and director of Grupo New Passport, María José Pulido leads this project with her innovative vision and extensive experience in the language immersion sector. Committed to excellence and passionate about culture, María José is confident that the programme, which distinctively merges Spanish language with the country’s traditions and cultural heritage, will delight guests who want to get to know Spain in a unique way.

  • Mike Slaski

    Mike grew up in North-West England, where he once worked at the Michelin-star restaurant The Forest Side. Currently Director of Studies at GNP, he has taught in Spain for the last seven years. He has travelled the country extensively and loves to get outdoors and off the beaten track. His passion for hospitality and uncovering authentic travel experiences are reflected in the Live Like a Local ethos.

  • Gemma Barreiro

    Born and raised in Galicia, Gema is deeply passionate about her homeland. She has explored its hidden corners through hiking and possesses extensive knowledge of Galician gastronomy, as well as expertise in traditional rituals such as meigallos and queimadas.
